Yes, to access the online application an E-ID is essential.

Anyone aged between 11 and 21 years at the time of applying who is interested to follow a language training programme in one of the following languages in their respective native country:

      1. Arabic
      2. French
      3. German
      4. Irish
      5. Italian
      6. Latin
      7. Chinese (Mandarin)
      8. Russian
      9. Spanish
      10. Swedish

The application is to be submitted by their parents/legal guardians indicating their consent and authorisation to participate in this scheme. Consent form to be filled in and sent with application.

One should apply after completing the course. It is important to keep the invoices, receipt and bank statement of the course fee, accommodation, and flights. Applications are ONLY accepted by NOT LATER than 3 months of the course completion date.

      1. Invoices, receipts and bank statements for training programme fees, accommodation (addressed to the applicant/parent/guardian and shall include check in and check out dates), and flight tickets.
      2. Boarding passes of both departure and return for applicant.
      3. Certificate of Attendance/ Certificate of Award showing name of applicant, date when issued, start and end date of course and the name of course.
      4. Financial Identification Form (TR/S-9): to be found from website, filled in and submitted with the application.
      5. Data Protection Form: to be found from website, filled in and submitted with the application.
      6. Consent Form: for applicants under 18 years of age, to be found from website, filled in and submitted with the application.

This scheme covers the course fees, accommodation: for the duration of the course and up to 2 extra nights; one before the starting date of the course and one after, and the flights.

Other travel related expenses like bus, taxi, metro etc are NOT covered. Language training programme must be of at least 15 hours.

Yes, the maximum value per grant is €850 (grant will be paid pro-rata basis on presentation of invoices, receipts, and bank statements).

Applicants may apply for the next course 3 months after the previous course was completed.
