Yes. You can apply for an MQF level 7 degree recognised by MFHEA. Master’s Programme shall mean a second cycle higher educational programme that; ▶ Leads to a Master level qualification offered by a HEI (including a University) with a minimum of 60 ECTS credits (based on the Bologna Process), and ▶ Leads to a full MQF Level 7 qualification on an academic level.
Applicants who are already in possession of a Level 7 master’s degree may also apply to read for another master’s degree, BUT they are not eligible to apply under this scheme to read for Programmes of studies below master’s degree, such as Post Graduate Diploma.
No. Applicants already in possession of an MQF Level 8 qualification cannot apply under this scheme.

No. However in relation to the assistance allowance, those who have been benefitting from Supplementary grants during their 1st Degree after the year 2017, will receive a grant of €2,000 per annum upon a declaration (Schedule III of the Regulations) if awarded a scholarship.
Yes. They are vetted for eligibility purposes.
Those who satisfy all the criteria stipulated in the Regulations shall be called for an interview.
Yes. It is in your responsibility to seek for any course or Educational Institution interested in, that are mutually recognised by the MFHEA as per Regulations
Yes. The scheme caters both for those studying in a local or foreign institution.
Yes, it is recommended to list more than one. You can list up to 5 courses/educational institutions on your application.
a) Yes, it’s a must. Applicants are required to choose from the dropdown menu on the online application form.
b) Make sure you liaise with your university/faculty supervisor to choose the right area of study. If your course does not fall under any of the area of study listed in the Regulation,
you are advised to apply also with any other scheme such as the TESS, Arts, Sports etc…. Please also follow the Regulation.
You can apply just the same as long as you have your course and Educational Institution details in hand.

In the case of the Unconditional Letter of Acceptance, MQRIC reports/receipts, academic records/transcripts/certificates, Confirmation re Area of Study and EU disability card are to be submitted via e-mail by the date that will be announced on the Regulation.
Process of payments is expected to start, after that the correct signed agreement reaches the office. This depends on various factors.
